About Me

This blog is an account of my adventures serving as a Peace Corps volunteer in Ethiopia (October 2012- December 2014). My name is Sarah and I am from Boulder, Colorado. I am in the Health Sector as an ICT (Information, Communication and Technology) Volunteer in Gondar, Amhara Region. I am serving in the Peace Corps as a part of my Master’s Program in International Development at the Josef Korbel School of International Studies.┬áHere, I hope to give some insight into the my life in Ethiopia. Connecting Americans (and some Canadian family and friends) to culture and life in the horn of Africa. Please join me on this adventure, ask any questions in the comment section and I will do my best to connect with you. If you want to hear about certain aspects (food, music, landscape etc.) let me know and I will create posts about what you want to read.

DISCLAIMER: This blog is my own thoughts, views and opinions not the views of Peace Corps or its staff.

Thanks for reading!
